Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

CPS: Investigating complaint from 2002? Has custody of 12 yr old

After a long search and investigating both state laws. I had custody of my 12 yr old for 3 yrs and never notified of the spouses dismissed orders.

After, a journey I went to her school to meet with school officials to reunite and be assisted with a mediator/advocate etc. BUT the other parent was called because Allinah was sick and we ended up there together.

CPS was called and took my daughter. My daughter suffers PAS to extreme. Now I have a adversary hearing on 9/25. How do I prepare? And can they legally investigate from assumed complaints 4 yrs ago? My daughter hates me because my ex has tore us apart thru 11 yrs of their kid snatching ways...Is this legal? What do I need to be prepared?

You have one week to prepare for an adversary hearing in an area in which you have no expertise or training? You didn't even explain the facts well in this setting. If you don't get a lawyer, the best preparation I can tell is be prepared to lose everything you've gained.
