Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
CPS is involved with my family right now. I was told what I need to do. I have complied, but it seems CPS is not doing their part by checking on what the problem is. My husband is the one in question. What i want to know, is since my husband and I have been doing what we were told we had to, do we have to leave our children with another family because CPS says we do even though they said it's "Not a legal document." We have not gone to court, nothing has been through a judge. We feel bullied into signing the document, or safety plan. My husband and I did sign it, all though we wrote that we had no legal advice and did not agree to the safety plan.
Thank you
Sarah

You were definitely "bullied" into signing the safety plan. That's how the CPS operates.
You need to hire a lawyer, and a good one. If he knows what he's doing, he'll charge you at least $5,000.00 up front.
