Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
I am a custodial parent working with the attorney general to have father pay for health insurance. My daughter is 9 years old and I have been providing insurance for her. Attornery general now modifies the entire order which will now increase his monthly payments. Non-custodail has hired an attorny and my question is, Do I need to hire one as well?

It is always advisable to consult with an attorney of your choice when you have a legal question.
The attorney at the attorney general's office is representing your "side" of the issue.
I am an Austin Uncontested Divorce Lawyer and help individuals try to prevent this situation at the point that they are getting a divorce.
Good Luck!
It is my opinion that the TX A G only represents the TX taxpayers.
I would hire an attorney to represent me to make sure that I was protected.
Good luck!
