custody

at what age can the child deciede which parent he wants to live with , that the other parent has no say in the matter?

When a child is 12 then the child can voice their opinion, but it is not binding on the judge. The judge makes the decision based on many factors, and this is only one of them. When a child turns 18 and is an adult, then the other parent no longer decides where the adult son or daughter lives.
