How Do I get Custody back?
It was ordered after I had custody for 6 years of my son and his dad was not around that, my son go live with his dad temp till I got my own place. I was lving with 2 male roomates and seperated from my husband. Now that I did this I was told to write a letter to the judge and let him so, so I did and Now I am told to get a attorny. I have tried but I am a single mom and tried legal aid they said I do not have a good enough reason to get my son back.
Also the reason me and my husband seperated is because the judge said he could not be around my son. Though when we went to court there was no evidence they just said what they thought. Can a judge make me get a divorce or choice between my marriage or my son? I have a daughter and that would be telling her to choose her brother or her dad. I am so lost and no one wants to help.

I'm sorry -- you have made some poor decisions for the future and welfare of your children, and are now upset that someone will not rescue you?
You have a complicated and difficult situation. You need a lawyer. You probably also need a second job to garner the resources to pay the lawyer to get your kids a future, and to demonstrate to the court that you are serious about making a life for your kids.
