Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
custody battle with drugs issue
my soon to be ex-husband (seperated for 2 years) is fighting for custody of our child. a home study was done 6 month ago. i presented to the caseworker of arrest warrants done for his last live- in girlfriend, for drug paraphernalia.
He also in the past did not pay daycare for our son. that, lasted for 4 months... even though i wrote him checks, to pay for the daycare. our son was kicked out of daycare for that.
i eventually paid up the non-payments to get my son back into daycare
he had fraud credit cards open in my name ( $12,000.00) dollars worth....i eventually got them taken off my name and onto his credit report.
he hidden my son from me for 25 days before i forced an emergency custody hearing.
he was force by the caseworker ( while this home study is still in process ) to put my name on the school records.. because he refused to do so, at my request.
...oh yeah, he had taken our son out of the school i had our son in without me knowing about it.
i shown all the proof to the caseworker at the home study.
my question is..... do i have a chance of getting my son back to his old school, closer to me ????
i have been a ''model'' mother/parent to my son. nothing i did wrong, but wanting my son back to me.

Sounds like you really need to talk to a family law attorney in your area about this. Custody cases are very complex and fact specific. You didnt say what the results of the home study were.. what are the temporary orders.. if any?
