Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Custody.

My entire life, ive been back and forth between texas and oregon, because i never do well in oregon. I am 17 years old, and now i want to go back home with my mother and grandmother in texas, and everytime i mention it to my family here, i get all sorts of threats. They arent my legal guardians, and im here by choice. In all reality, if this were taken to court, what would be the chances of them succeeding? Im thinking they would have to prove my mother an unfit parent, which is an impossibility. this is a terrible environment, and its urgent that i get advice before i make a decision. Thanks,
