Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have custody of our grandchild. His mother and father are getting a divorce. THe mother is filing and wants the child ss# and certain info. Does she need this info is we have custody? She is suppose to be paying child support and has not seen the child or paid child support since last year.

If you have custody then you are going to be included in their divorce!

That won't make her happy! However, at least you will involved in what is going on.

Yes, the court will need to know his social security number on some final documents but on the Final Decree of Divorce the no only require the entire ## -- usually now only the last 4 numbers are used to prevent identity theft.
