Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Custody

My husband is a convicted (multipule drugs) felon. Awhile back CPS became involved in our lives (for what was later deemed to be no ligitimate reason) and my UA came back [slightly] dirty for a narcotic. i attended and passed all classes asked to take (before being prompted). He is unemployed, i am a personal assistant for a well-known landscape architect, and an occassional exotic dancer (I will no longer be dancing when i leave this man). Which parent is more likely to recieve custody? i want to leave but he says there's no way i will ever be awarded the children. He also has about 6-10 family members near by while i have only 2. Please help! i want to leave but not without my little ones.

Re: Custody

You need to hire an attorney. The courts look at the best interest of the children in situations like this. Get your life back together, love your children and may God bless you during this difficult time.
