Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

custody

The length it has taken to get back to my final hearing has been 8 month and counting. ( home study taken ). i was given temp. possession custody. Child's father was given temp. conservatorship. I'm waiting for the result. I had a ton a evidence in the home study against the father to gain back conservatorship custody.

My question is .. the 8 months of waiting. Does this hurt my chances of winning conservatorship of my child.

The father talks a good game. But no proof of any of the crazy things he says.

I think that's why he gotten temp. conservatorship. HE confused the judge so much. The judge ordered a home study to be done.

Re: custody

Trial dockets are backlogged in many counties, and it is not unusual to take this long. Do you have a lawyer? You need one.
