Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I have a niece whose harming herself and became bulimic. Her parents are divorced and neither one will do anything to help, they say she is justing trying to get attention. Is there any law where I can step in and have her come live with me and if so how does it happen.

Without trying to make it sound too simple, you start by going to a good family law attorney. You may have grounds to do something as a close relative who fears for the child's safety. Good luck!
