Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Custody Parenting Plan Exhibits

I am currently pregnant and no longer with the father (who now lives out of state). We have agreed to try to do an uncontested SAPCR case but need to know if the ''Parenting Plan Exhibits'' can be modified. I am concerned that the general outlines in the form do not fit our situation at this time, as he is out of state, we're having twins, the age of the children, his abilities to care for 2 infants alone, etc. I am hopeful we will agree on visitation without either one of us having to ''force'' the other, but simply put: I want more limitations. If he agrees, can we omit some of the items and/or modify the general outlines?

Re: Custody Parenting Plan Exhibits

Whatever form you are using can probably be modified. The problem is that since you don't know what you are doing, you could end up with an agreed order that is not enforceable. Even if you don't hire a lawyer to represent you, at least hire a lawyer for a lengthy consultation to review your documents, and advise you.
