Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

custody of my son

My son is now living with me here in Texas. Due to his mom who lives in Washington state requested i send a plane ticket. He will be 15 in two weeks. How do I file for Custody.

Where is the divorce decree granting custody? WA or TX? If it's in WA, you'll have to file a motion to transfer. This will take some time. A lawyer could help you with this. It's kinda tricky if you don't know what you're doing. Kind of like adjusting the valves and timing on a V8 engine.
