Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

custody

my step son's biological father

and grandmother are trying to

sue ma and my wife for giving the

child my lastname.

only thing is i did not sign the birth certificate.

they are trying to sick child support on my wife.

what information can some one give me.

If the biological father wants his name on the child he will need to file and prove a paternity action and have the child's name legally changed, not try to sue you in some non-family law court. If your wife has custody of the child she is the one who should be going after the biological father for support. You and your wife should go talk with a good family law attorney.
