Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Custody of my 4 year old daughter.

I left my ex-fiance a year ago, he hasn't seen our daughter in over 7 months. He was hardly ever there to see her when we were together. He's been to prison for drugs twice, and was arrest for drugs Dec. 2005. He was abusive to my 2 older children (one of which he adopted and has now disowned). He never supported the kids when we were together and has paid no child support in the year since I left him. Until christmas 2006 he had no contact with the kids for 6 months( when he left town)! Our daughter doesnt remember him, and now hes wanting visitation- can I have him declared an unfit father & have his rights stripped away. He's abusive, a drug addict, an alcoholic, and prone to run with her if I let him see her. He's a stranger to her- what can I do to protect my baby girl?

You can try to have his parental rights terminated. Just depends on the judge. Sounds like you have the facts, but you will have to prove each of those allegations. The judge is just not going to take your word for it.
