Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

dad wants children to live with stepmom while he travels
I have custody of my children They have always lived
with me and my husband for 7 years. Now they are 13
and 12 years old My exhusband wants them to move in
with stepmom in college station,tx while he works in
florida and visits sometimes. I am not in agreement
with this can this happen I was gonna send my son
to live with his dad in florida but his dad said it
wouldn't work because he would never see him between
his work and music gigs.would the judge go along with
this if the kids wanted to live with their stepmom?

Why would you send your children to live with a non-parent?

Please be advised that if the step-mother has them, she can ask that you be ordered to pay child support to her.
