Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my dad was recently told that he may not have too much longer to live . he told me that he wanted to sign over is property and other things on his property to me . would we have to get a will or can we just get a noterized paper stating what he wants with his signature and mine i already have a medical power of attotney over him

If he isn't going to sign things over to you (by proper deed or transfer) then your father needs to make a Will. Nothing else will do. You should contact a good probate and estate attorney in your Dad's area for assistance.
