Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

my daughter has been taken from me

my daughter was taken away from me in January by her grandmother for a visit, and was not returned. Her grandmother and father have kept her from me by changing addresses and phone numbers frequently. I ran into them by accident and my daughter gave me reason to believe there is abuse involved. In a weeks period of time they're trying to keep her again. How do I go about dealing with this situation ?

Re: my daughter has been taken from me

If your daughter is taken without any order or authority, you can file criminal charges of kidnapping against the grandparents. While they may not approve of your situation with your daughter, they have no right to interfere with your possession of the child without a court order.
