Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My daughter has a 1 month old. Visitation has not been established with the courts. The other grandparents want to take the baby for a few hours. What does my daughter do to insure they return him?

Unfortunately, the law does not control behavior. While absent a court order or consent, only parents are entitled to possess a child, the grandparents could comply with this by returning the child to the other parent.

My suggestion is to delay the visitation until visitation is established by a court.
