Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My daughter is doing her pro se divorce. I am a paralegal student and wrote and filed the divorce papers for her with the court clerk. We are now waiting our 60 day period and now she has decided she wants more child support than we originally asked for. How do I go about petitioning the court to change the amount of child support? The final decree has not been signed yet.

A paralegal must work under the supervision of an attorney in the State of Texas. If you are not doing so, you are practicing law without a license in Texas which is a felony.
I suggest that you talk to one of your instructors about paralegal liability.
You need to be careful or you could be in trouble.
There is a family law judge in Harris County Texas that makes sure the DA's office in Harris county prosecutes unsupervised paralegals and "friends" that prepare legal paperwork for friends and relatives!
