Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My daughter does not want to visit with her biological father anymore. She is almost 13. At what age can she decide if she wants to go over or not? He tells her he's going to pick her up and doesn't show up. He's even not called, showed up, or answered phone calls when it's his weekend. She's tired of being dissapointed and doesn't want to go over there anymore.

There is no age at which a child can decide to defy a court order.

Technically, the order doesn't require the CHILD to do anything, so the CHILD isn't under a court order. The "custodial parent" (Mom) is ordered to surrender the child to the "noncustodial parent" (Dad) if he shows up at the designated time for the beginning of a period of visitation.
