Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My daughter is 6 years old and has asthma. She has been hospitalized twice with pneumonia. We are separated and have final mediation in March. Her dad does not give her her asthma medicine when she is with him, despite my verbal and e-mail reminders to him. I feel that she is being neglected. What can I do about this?

What do you want to do? In the mediation you can demand that he not have overnight visits with the child, but he's not likely to agree to that. If you have a calendar of hospitalizations that shows an unmistakable link between when she is with him and when she has gotten sick, bring that to the mediation and let the mediator know that it is the most important part of the deal as far as you're concerned and that you're ready to go to trial over that one issue (if all that is true).
