Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My daughter is almost 13 years old and keeps saying she wants to live with me instead of her mom. Her mom keeps telling her no she can not live with me. Is there some kind of form to fill out or can my daughter and I talk to the judge for her to be able to live with me now?? What can I do that wont cost me alot of money since her mom wont agree???

The only way for your daughter to live with you is to file a MODIFICATION. Then the judge can meet with your daughter and discuss the reasons she wants to move.

Texas eliminted the form that kids could sign the last time the legislature met.

Good luck!
