Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My daughter is 13 years old and does not want to do weekend visitation with her father anymore. She has come to this decision based on his alcoholism and emotional abuse. What rights does she have and what power do I have in this situation?

You need to file a motion for modification of the order.

When Dad comes over ot exercise visitation, open the door and invite him in. Tell him that his daughter doesn't want to go with him, and that she is in her room. If he wants to wrestle her out to the car, let him do so. But be sure to video the incident.

Your obligation under the law (I haven't read YOUR order, but I know what it says) is to "surrender" the child to Dad. You aren't required to put her into a car.
