Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
My daughter's father is paying Child Support. We just went to court because he was behind 3500.00 and he ended up paying 3000.00 right before court. The court still ordered him to pay monthly payments of 500.00 plus 50.00 more until he gets caught up, but he has neglected to do so. Now he keep telling me because of my attitude he will not pay @ all. He waits until the last days of the month to pay if nothing. I am getting sick and tired of it. He owns his buisness, so they can not take it directly out of his checks. What can be done to get this corrected and resolved? I know there is something that can be done, but dont know exactly what. There is no way a person can take advantage and be in control of when and what he pays for his kid.

A judge won't give you any help as long as the payments are made LESS THAN 30 DAYS AFTER THE DUE DATE.
Has he actually been complying with the last order (regular payments plus $50 extra)? Has he actually MISSED any of those payments? If he has, you can take him back to Court.
