Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

dead beat mom

My 15 year old daughter just had a baby and is living with the baby's father and his family instead of her mother. I am still making child support payments to my ex-wife and she is not supporting the 15 year old. She does not provide any support of any kind either, monetary or otherwise. She is supporting herself and her boyfriend with my daughter's support money. Child protective services currently has a case pending on her. How can I stop making payments to my ex-wife and send the money to my daughter directly.

Re: dead beat mom

You would have to file a motion to modify child support.
