Can you please explain what death penalty sanctions are in a divorce case?

You can locate the specifics in the Texas Code of Civil Procedure. If one party fails to respond to discovery, or otherwise abuses the process, the judge can punish that party by striking their pleadings and evidence, effectively abolishing their case. There are various alternatives available to the judge, and various levels of severity.
