Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Deceptive former to be ex-husband

while our divorce is in play, The Ex works as a Designer for gas pipelines in Texas making excellent money. He has been there for almost 30 years. My lawyer checked on his retirement, stocks, ect, which come out to only $5000.00 I firmly believe that he hid it somewhere by finding a loophole in the system. He abandoned me when I became disabled and could not work to add to the retirement pot. Is there anything I can do to find out as to what happened to all the money that was put away for 30 yrs? All he talked about was how lucky we would be when he retired. What can I do?

It is really hard to find money in the mattress or in the backyard coffee can. A really good investigator to find these things is almost, if not more, as difficult to find. The sad fact is you are going to have to spend some big money to go into this because it is not a crime - but it ought to be. Good Luck
