Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Who decides what reasonable means in a divorce decree?
This is what is says word for word.
''Petitioner desires that the parties herto be awarded the joint custody of the minor child, his name, with her name designated as the domiciliary parent subject to my name's rights of reasonable visitiation''
And also,
''Petitioner will show that defendant is gainfully employed, or employable, and that he should pay unto her name a reasonable sum per month for child support.''
I understand the join custody and child support, but WHO decides what a reasonable amount is. I'm currently in the Army and she is in another state. Just got these in the mail today.
Also, the papers were filed in Louisiana, but I am in Texas.

Re: Who decides what reasonable means in a divorce decree?
Since the Petition for Divorce was filed in Louisiana, you need to ask a Louisiana attorney.
