If I am declared unfit and my parental rights are terminated in Texas, will I still have to pay child support?

Probably not. The only way you would pay child support for FUTURE months, would be if the child ends up in the care of the state. Then the State of Texas can come after you. But if the child is still living with the other parent, which is the situation 99.99% of the time, you will not have to pay FUTURE child support. I keep capitalizing that word because if you have an arrearage, you'll still have to pay that, with interest at the rate of 6% per year.
