Definition of types of conservatorship
My daugher has asked my wife and I to file for custody of her son and we need to understand the definition of the different types of conservatorship. Basically, our daugher wants us to have sole custody with her and the father having visitation rights. Here is what is on our SAPCR:
10. CONSERVATORSHIP & ACCESS
The child�s best interest will be served by naming Petitioners:
Sole Managing Conservators, (Home-Parent)
and naming Respondent A :
Possessory Conservator (Co-Parent).
and naming Respondent B :
Possessory Conservator (Co-Parent).

The definitions of the various types of conservatorship exceeds the scope of this site. These are defined to some extent in the Texas Family Code. Good Luck.
