Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
denied seeing my child
i have been in iraq for 15 months now and have orders to be sent to wa state and have very little time till i am deployed again. soon to be ex will not allow me to see my daughter unless she is there even though there has not been any court order saying i need any kind of supervised visitation. i feel it wouldn't be in the best intrest of our child that she be present considering we always argue and that this would be damaging to the reestablishment a bond. while i was away she had been evicted from her apartment and scense then, bouncing from one place to another and will not give me the address to where she is staying at and completly aviods my calls. throughout the time of us spliting up i have been paying her child support through the military of 578.00 a month and covering her and my childs medical. also while i was gone i tried keeping in contact with her throught the internet and phone calls and was very limited considering she always changed address and numbers. she allowed me to see her for 3 days while on leave for 2 weeks and before that i was given a total of maybe a month on and off throughtout the last 2 1/2 years. what can i do as i know i have very little time before i am sent away again?

You *might* be able to get an emergency hearing since you are soldier home from Irag. Find a lawyer. Many lawyers will work something out for our active duty warriors. I'm sorry I'm too far away or I would do something for you. Good Luck.
