Because me and my ex have not been able to come to an agreement that she can stick to.

I have been telling her for months that i want to see my son for the summer but at the last minute she backs out.

what can i do as a parent? can i file comtempt charges against her? and how?

Re: denied visitation

You have a visitation order that she is not abiding by? You have several options, but you need to take steps to enforce the order, which you can do by contempt, or motion to compel. To get your visitation for the summer if she is not cooperating, I'd first go to court to get specific dates and the exchange times and places set by the court, with a request for sanctions against her. The other option is the contempt, but that can be a drawn out proceeding which doesn't ensure your visitation this summer, just penalties/sanctions for her bad behavior.
