Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am currently deployed to Afghanistan as a contractor. Recently I was served with divorce papers from my soon to be ex-husband. How should I respond to this situation? Am i supposed to sign something and return it back to my soon to be ex-husband? Am I supposed to get a lawyer? How am I supposed to show up to court since I'm currently deployed? Thank you.

If you were served with citation, you should file an answer. Hire a lawyer who offices near the courthouse. Most of what has to be done can be handled (by you) by mail.
