what determines amount of support

Does the state of texas consider the salary of a non custodial parent's spouse, in figuring out the amount of child support owed,if so, do they also consider the amount of debts owed by the noncustodial parent and spouse in figuring out support.

There are exceptions to every rule, and the bottom line question is always what is in the child's best interest. That said, the rule is that the exspouse' income is not relevant, and the obligated spouse' debts are not relevant (save certain items such as federal taxes and medical insurance). TCL
