Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Difficult ex-wife
I have been divorced for almost 7 years, having joint custody from the signing of the decree. My son is now 19 and in college, but my daughter is 17 and will be a senior in high school. She recently cmae to live with me and has no desire to spend any time with her mother, who is a miserable woman. While it will be easy for me to modify conservatorship, how can I reverse or stop child support payments without having the judge order standard visitation rights to the mother? I don't want my daughter forced to spend time with her mother, but I do encourage her to have a relationship on her own time.

Re: Difficult ex-wife
It may not be possible, but the evidence presented at the hearing will determine the level of visitation, if any, that the mom will have.
