I have been disabled for the past five years however, I know $5000 in child support arrears. What can I do to get rid of those arrears as my disability is permanent and I will never be able to work again?

Your disability does not have any effect on your child support arrearage.

You should file a motion for modification (to change the current, ongoing obligation) immediately.
