Can you disown your parent?

Mother and daughter have been fighting for a while now. Daughter is an adult. Daughter has tried to make peace and solve issues. Mother does not wish to resolve things. Duaghter wnats nothing to do with mother ever agin. Can duahgter disown mother?

If you write a will, you can specify that she take nothing in your will.

If you die without a will, the State of Texas has the order that your relatives will inherit. Your mother could inherit something when you die.

You would need to consult with an estate planning and/or probate attorney for how the State of Texas decides who inherits. It would depend if you were married, had kids, etc.
