Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Dispute of Will Execution

Hello, I am 1 of 5 kids. My mother passed Oct. 4, 2004. My father began dating 5 months after her passing. It is our belief this had been going on way before her passing. However, there is a will and property (house, car, family heirlooms) that if not entirely willed to us kids her half was willed to us kids. My father just remarried and we have never been given what was intended by my mom for us to have. Our question is, does his remarrying supercede my mom's will and her property?

Re: Dispute of Will Execution

The marriage does not supercede the will. Where is the will? Sounds like you might be under 18. I suggest that you find the will and take it to an attorney to see if he/she can help you. If you don't do this soon, much of the property may be lost.
