Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Dissapointing Attorney

The attorney I hired for my divorce rarely shows up FOR COURT.he says he had other cases in criminal court. He does not respond to emails or phone calls when he does he always sounds annoyed and tries to rush me off the phone.

I looked up his record online with the texas bar association and it says he has 2 instances of

Fully Probated Suspension

all within recent years? ...please tell me what it means.

Also if my wife had a baby while we were seperated ( AOP has been signed)and she does not want to state the father fo the child lives with her or File child support on him. The attorney says the judge will not allow the divorce to go through unless she does one or the other. Is this true?

Being so he does not show up for court (until hours later) I fon't am not certain about how reliable this information is .

Re: Dissapointing Attorney

File a grievance against this attorney with the State Bar. Doesn't seem to phase him/her. And, get another attorney who is working for you - not some criminal.
