Divorce with adopted children

Me and my wife are seprated. She is the biological mother of both children. Oldest son was 5 and daughter was 3 mo. We were together 5 years. Last year I adopted both children now 11 and 5. The son lives with me in Texas and daughter with mother in Boston. Is my rights in divorce the same as if they were biologicaly mine.

If you adopted them, they are yours to fight for.
