Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

I am getting a divorce and we are agreeing on everything except one thing. he will be giving me more child support than the 20%. The divorce decree will say $1,000 monthly. He will also be responsible for their health insurance. We have 2 kids and their primary home will be with me. He says that he has the right to claim one of the kids on his tax return. I don't agree so, does he have the write to claim one of our kids?

No.

Unless the decree states otherwise, the "custodial" parent, the one receiving child support, claims the children for income tax purposes.
