Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Divorce agreement

When my ex and i got a divorce a year ago he agreed to pay me and part of his military retirement. In our decree it states he will pay me 106.00 a month. He paid this for 8 months after i remarried and i just realized he had stopped this payment to me. I asked him why and he said he only agreed to pay this till i remarried, i told him that was not true. Because we finally had just got our divorce after being separated for over 5 years because i wanted to remarry. And now refuses to pay me this, and it is in our divorce decree he told me i quess you need to get a lawyer because i was only paying it till you remarried.

Re: Divorce agreement

I would need to see your divorce decree. I think the decision you would need to make is whether you can recover your $106/mo after paying the attorneys fees. Your decision. Good Luck.
