Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Divorce aides...legal to charge?

I recently went through and completed my divorce ''pro se'', now a few of my frinds want me to do their divorce papers for them to save attorney fees, is it legal to charge a nominal fee to complete a pro se divorce with no license?

thanks

You can't provide legal services without a license. Helping people complete forms is the practice of law without a license.

Please send me your name and address so I can report you to the State Bar of Texas.

This is illegal and the State Bar of Texas is very aggressive about this sort of thing.

If you mess up, think about the heart-ache and pain you might cause someone.

Of course, they could turn around and sue you.
