do i need an attorney to get a divorce?

You are entitled to represent yourself and there are do-it-yourself divorce kits available on line. However, that approach is only a good idea if you have nothing but personal property, no children and no complications.

It would be wise for you to consult with an attorney before proceeding. You can represent yourself, but that can be a dangerous proposition unless you know what you are doing.
