Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

My divorce calls for my ex to pay support for our disabled daughter, until she is able to live alone; she never eill. He paid until 15 years ago and stopped. At the time, I was financially secure. My daughter has been denied state support, can I reinstate my order?

We need to see your order.

I assume that it's never been modified.

I assume that there has never been a period when your daughter "lost" her disability.

There is probably no need to "reinstate" your order; you may just need to ENFORCE it. The Attorney General probably won't help you, but it wouldn't hurt to try to contact them. Here's the contact page:
