Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

divorce child custody and CPS

I am fighting for joint custody with my (ex) wife. I was accused of child abuse while in my sleep in Florida during the first of vacation with my daughters but the CPS in Florida did not find anything incriminating and have closed the case. They however transfer the case to CPS in Texas which still has case open but no status is giving to me of their (supposed) investigation. CPS TX, said they want the court to decide...

I reside in the family house and ex moved to a 3 bedroom apartment with my two daughters. She has filed for temporary orders and asking full custody of the two girls and only supervised visitation for me and asking bond to be issued against me against any property and asset. My ex used to have full control of our money and accounts etc. I have hired an attorney but what is the best approach to handle her claims and have equal joint custody as it is in best interest of children to be with both parents. During CPS tx, investigation, I was saw my younger daughter only once for 15 minutes and older 3 times for half hour each with either the mother present or maternal grandmother. Ex says girls are not ready to see me every time I request to see them. Kids are 8 and 11 yrs old...

You have hired a lawyer. You are paying good money to be asking that lawyer exactly these types of questions.
