Divorce with children on my own

Can i do my own divorece with no lawyer, and still be able to get child support from my husband, and he not be able to take my children

Of course you can try to do it.

I'm an attorney and I always hire an attorney to represent me in court since I'm too close to the case.

Most plumbers that I talk to like people that try to fix their own plumbing problems -- they make more money fixing the mess the do-it-yourself'er tried to do.

If you don't do everything properly, the Judge can't help you. Judges give up the practice of law when they become judges.

You can go to any law library and do the research.

Of course, I went to law school for 3 years to learn the process. But you can try to do it yourself.
