Legal Question in Family Law in Texas
Divorce
I went to court last week for my divorce hearing and the volunteer lawyers assciation that has to approve my documents before I can go before the judge told me that I need to have a medical support order. Details of my case. We have joint custody but I have physical custody. We are in agreement with all terms just want to get this done. Can you please point me in the right direction how to get this medical support order. My sons grandmother pays his medical insurance each month via ach. It really does not matter to us who is listed. What to do? Thanks.

Re: Divorce
I'm not sure what county you are in that a volunteer lawyers association has to pre-approve you divorce paperwork and it really does matter what the who is listed on a medical support order. A divorce with children is not really DIY. There are too many things that a layman isn't going to know or understand and too many things that can come back to bite you big time later.
If you want to contact my office, we can set up an appointment and talk about me reviewing your paperwork and perhaps helping you finalize the divorce for a moderate fee.
