Legal Question in Family Law in Texas

Divorce

My cousin got married about 13-14 years ago. After his first marrage he got married for the sceond time about 7years ago from Pakistan with out will of his first USA wife. Now tell me he is neither giving divorce to his second wife nor he is telling to his first wife. Is there any law which can help me in these circumstances. The women to whome he got married for the second time she is also my cousin and she is Pakistan. His first marrage was just for the sake of nationality but now he have two daughters from women from USA. He decieved her and didnt inform her that he is going to be married for the second time.

I need your assistance that what USA state law can do for me in this condition.

If i come in USA to persue my case in the court how much time it will take for the decion.

I just need that my foolish cousin should face court for this cruel act of second marrage and deceieving.

Please inform me as soon as possible.

Re: Divorce

Your cousin may have committed the crime of bigamy, if the facts are correct. This could result in jail and/or removal from the US. The removal would probably be based upon the marriage for the purpose of immigration fraud.

If you come here and expose him, be prepared for a a lot of broken lives. These lives won't be broken because of you, but because of his actions -- but it will be important to handle this gently and kindly towards the wives and children. It is impossible to predict how long the case will take to work through the courts. You may want to document as much of the relationships as possible before you take any action.

Re: Divorce

so far your message does't disclose what actually you seek, do u want divorce for the second wife... or u simply wants to punish ur male cousin. in case you seek the first one , than u can seek khula from the court of appropriate jurisdiction in Pakistan and so far second option is concerned , its hard to prove that his first marriage was based on fraud, beacause he married to her for many years and having kids and all that.
